Angel Lace

The angelic chaplet is a religious prayer practice to worship angelic spirits and ask for their intercession with God. It is one of the many chaplets in the Catholic Church, along with the rosary or the Divine Mercy chaplet.

A typical angelic chaplet consists of nine groups of three small prayers each (usually a Hail Mary) and a prayer to Archangel Michael. Often each of the tens is dedicated to a different angelic spirit, such as angelic guardian, angelic herald, angelic volunteer, angelic protector, etc.

The angelic chaplet is intended to strengthen the spiritual bond between man and angelic spirits, as well as to ask for their protection, support and intercession with God. This prayer also aims to show the faithful that angels are close to us, surround us with their protection and are helpful to us in our spiritual lives.
